Q: Old ibook g4 get frezze!

Hi everybody, i have an old Ibook g4, i think that is the Early 2004, the specs are 1 Ghz and 768 of ram. Well the issue is that some day randomly the mac get frezze! no keyboard no mouse nothing! so i turn it off and get in on again, but nothing! just the bong sound and a black screen.... i rest it for a while, and back again! Turn it on, the apple logo and get frezze again! ***?... i get it off the ram, the airport, the battery and the same, i get it into the boot loader and get frezze, i open the open-firmware... the same. a restart the pram and the prom and is the sameeeeee! So i began to investagate about the issue and i get that is probable a logic board failure, exactly a cracked soldered pin... so i was wondering if that is true? And if that is true what i have to do in order to get back my mac online, i know is old, but i'm not to paid more than a $1000 (cuz i cant) just for servering and taking simple notes. Thanks for the attention

iBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

    Hello,

It would sound to me like the problem with the GPU becoming un soldered from the logic board.

A very commonly reported problem on these iBooks.

If by applying pressure to the left side of the tracker pad, with the palm of your hand when booting. All seems fine until you lift off you hand, then it would be part the way to confirming that.

If it is the problem with the GPU, then you wouldn't have any choice but to replace the logic board, which is difficult to get brand new.
