Q: Can't print cd jewel case insert

Just updated to Itunes 11. Now can't print cd jewel case insert without overlay of black symbols over list of songs. I use this function alot. What should I do? Considering trying to return to previous version.

    Talked to the Apple support people. Get a Mac is the best he could do. Why would I think their customer service would be be any good after all of this? This problem will never be fixed.

    Nowadays, when I burn a CD in iTunes, I just key the song titles and artists into Microsoft Word and print out my own insert. Takes only a few minutes to key in the info. I'm through waiting for these clowns.

    The Apple guys seem not to care at all. These are extracts from the replies I got (names removed):

     

     

    Greetings! My name is ****** your iTunes Store Advisor for today. Thank you for contacting iTunes Support. I'm sorry for all the inconvenience it have caused you regarding the jewel case issue in iTunes. As of the moment, this case was still under investigation and iTunes is still working on it.

     

    As a remedy for this issue or irk around provided, you can transfer the content to a MAc and then  print the CD jewel case insert with the desired theme from there.

     

     

     

    On replying to the above, trying to get the matter escalated within their organisation, I got told that I could call Applecare, who would tell me about complimentary and fee based support! So that's that then!!

     

    A bit like David and Goliath - anyone got a slingshot?!!

    Downloaded and back in business. Guess we'll never know why it took so long, or whether this thread helped "expedite" the fix. I do know I'll be ignoring new versions in the future, that's for sure!

    Yeah!  Finally.  I think I will stay with this 11.0.3 version.  Apple thanks.  It's been a long, long time in coming.  Or should I thank "Steve"

    Have you checked out the mini player. It won't go full screen. They fix one thing and screw up another

    I noticed this new problem. The mini player does not work at all.

     

    I had an install problem with this version. iTunes did not want to open from the desktop icon. I have a little program (Take Ownership) to help with a permission problem in Window 7.

     

    Thanks to everyone who helped fix the problem with printing a CD insert.

    Hi folks, I  have at last sorted this lot out.  I have

    uninstalled version 11.0.2.26 and then installed the new version  11.0.3.42 and what do I find, EUREKA.It works. I can now print off all the Jewel Case inserts that I want. Hope this helps somebody.

    At last Apple have decided to do something about this, I have downloaded the latest update and everything works ok now. Why Apple could not just put a notice out monthe ago to say they were dealing with this problem I will never Know this would have save a lot of hassle and ill feeling.

    Thanks to the community for alerting the rest of us that Apple has finally fixed this. My inserts are printing out fine again.

    I've been banging my head against the wall with this one. Ever since upgrading I can no longer print cd songlists. All songs are jumbled. Even when I use the last option, large playlist. I cannot get help. They want me to pay 20 bucks because I am using a Windows computer!!!! It's thier issue, not mine. Why should I pay for somthing that used to be free? I told them I am leaving iTunes. Help is impossible. The product is getting worse. There's no answers.

    Have you not read the posts above yours? Apple released another new update and the issue is now fixed!
