    iCloud needs OS X 10.7.2 or newer. The iBook is a PowerPC Mac, so the maximum OS X version you can use is OS X 10.5.8. That means that you can't use iCloud on this Mac.

     

    If you could run Snow Leopard, you could have tried to set up other services, but it's impossible to make Photo Stream work because it also needs iPhoto '11 or later. The only thing you can do is to use another computer to transfer pictures to an external disk and connect it to your Mac

    Using the external drive can the photos be transfered to the iBook? Mine is an  G4 800mghz running 10.3.9.
