Overheating on 10.8.4?

Hello,

I have upgraded to 10.8.4 and it seems like my late 2009 iMac gets pretty hot for no reason.

I know there's always someone to complain after a release update, but it has never been my case before.

Currently, iStat pro says 54°C (for what it's worth) while my mac has been standing there for about an hour, and my fans are running full blast. I just watched a youtube video and sent an email. Nothing more.

Hopefully, it's just a third party app not responding well to the update although I can't see any suspisious memory activity.

So I'm asking: does anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks!

TheOutsider.
