purchased off of the apps store...wont download!!!

the mountain lion will begin to download and after an hour or so i'll get a error message. im over in Japan and can not get any help from Apple being that im not able to call back to the states without running a $200+ phone bill.

    I would believe this issue to be caused by a loss of Internet connection, or timeout, or some hiccup in the connection. If you can, try to obtain a better connection, using Ethernet may be your best bet. The faster the better, especially since Mountain Lion is a very large file to download. Good luck, enjoy Japan!

    Actually, I have seen that issue a long time ago! I don't recall if it was error 102, but it may have been. In my case, it was an issue with Permissions. I called up Apple and we tried various troubleshooting steps before we ran out of things to try. He finally suggested I create a new user account and move my data over or perform a clean install.


    You could try one of those options. Or contact Apple, perhaps their troubleshooting steps would work.
