Re: I tried running this software while in safe mode, and it gives an error message, not able to start the installation process. Could this be because I already have drivers installed? Should I uninstall the drivers and then reinstall?

I've been using the Windows bootcamp partition on my Macbook Pro OS-X Lion 10.7.5 for a couple months. It had the black screen with the cursor problem, which was fixed after using the windows 7 installation disc to repair the problems, but now it reverts to a completely black screen while still running just before it reaches the windows login page. That is the issue I am trying to resolve. I figure it's a problem with the drivers, and I'm wondering if it'd be safe to uninstall the display drivers and then reinstall them in safe mode... I am also trying to figure out why the bootcamp support software with the drivers aren't working as well.
