I reduced the number of colors in the monitor control panel of a Mac B&W G3 running OS9.2. Now it will not start with the extensions on. Any ideas?

    Try this.

Boot the machine with Extensions Off.

Then open the System Folder and inside that open the Preferences folder. In the Preferences folder locate the file named Display Preferences and the file named Monitors Preferences (this second one is in a folder with the same name). Throw both of those files away and empty the Trash.

    Then try a normal restart.
