Q: My Iphone wont recognize my sim

I originally had an Iphone 4 then it smashed so i got a brand new one but it was the same modal for some reason everytime I try to put my sim in it says invailid sim and sim not regonsized???? HELPPPP!

Your original iPhone 4 was purchased where?

New direct from Apple or new direct from an officially retailer or carrier?

You purchased the brand new iPhone from where?

If the first iPhone was purchased from Apple as unlocked, it sounds like the new iPhone was not.

Contact AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.
