garageband low volume on export
I am pretty new to garageband and have exported a couple of mixes that I have been working on.
The volume seems very low when I play it back. Is there something I need to do to increase the volume on export?

Thanks. I have tried exporting as mp3 and aif in Garageband.
It makes no difference though. The volume is still very low.
I understand that mastering would make a big difference but I just want to increase the volume level.
Is that possible within GB?

did you turn off normalize as the FAQ explained?
When I export I uncheck "Compress" and click Export.
I don't see an option to turn off normalize.
Can you tell me where how to do that?
That's what the link told you:
Open GarageBand's preferences and deselect "Export projects at full loudness" under the Advanced tab.
