Trouble buying calendar - help!

I was about to buy a calendar in iphoto and was advised to update to iphoto 11 before buying it. I did and then restarted my computer. Now everytime I try to buy it says "An error occurred while contacting the Apple Online Store. Please try again" and won't connect. Help!!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
