Hello. I am having trouble with my MacBook Pro. It is a 13-inch, Mid 2010 model running OS X 10.8.4. The problem is that whenever I access System Preferences, then wallpapers, It displays a message saying "Loading Images...." and also displays an ever-lasting loading loop that doesn't end. Basically, I cannot change my wallpaper because the images won't load up. I have tried restarting my computer, shutting it down, force shutting it down, force quitting system preferences, and just letting it run for days but it hasnt done anything. Also the spinning rainbow beachball is present and keeps going. Is there anything I can do? Please help.

Thank you
