With a current iTunes library exceeding 100k and Apple's leaning to added features (announced today at WWDC) for iTunes Match clients I'm getting the feeling we'll be left-out of some of the new feature base. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

There was no announcement of the 25k track limit being increased.

My concern was the fact that WWDC announced that without iTunes Match iRadio will be subjecting us to Ad banners while using iTunes Radio. Seems we're getting penalized for having too much music. Again, any thoughts?

I am in a similar boat to you - though probably closer to 60K songs - a lot of which will not be matchable anyways. I would assume that eventually Apple will start an iRadio model where you can pay to get rid of the ads (like Pandora and Spotify do) or else let you join iTunes Match, pay the annual fee but not allow you to upload your library. Hope so anyway.

That certainly is a viable solution. If it's OK with you I'll forward it on to some of my friends at Apple and see if they can get it in the pipes. Thank you.

It's not a viable solution.  Apple's far behind the curve with the 25,000 song limit.  Those of us who are/were in the music business have over 25,000 songs easily.  Music buffs have more than that, too.  We aren't pirates; we buy our music.

Amazon and Google allow more than this.  Why, with their huge datacenter investment, is Apple so far behind on this?  Sure, initially, 25,000 made sense.  But this is years now...

I would cancel my spotify premium subscription and buy itunes match to listen to music on mobile... when they skip this poor limit. Apple is with it's music section way behind spotify, soundcloud, pulselocker & Co. It's time to revamp this whole thing.

I just sent Apple feedback asking them to base iTunes Match on a 25K or fewer song playlist.

It is absurd that I and others like me should be punished for having bought too many CDs over the years -- for being the music industry's best customers (as well as being Apple's best customers) and not allowed to listen to iTunes Radio without commercials.

I'm starting to think that Apple may actually be doing the smart thing (which is not the right thing) with that limit. What I mean is that maybe there are actually so few of us music lovers / junkies that it wouldn't make economic sense to satisfy us. I'd be curious to know how many Google / Amazon accounts are above that 25k, but Apple probably has a way to know, and if it was a profitable market they would probably consider it.

That said, I'm waiting as well.

Apple is offering 5000 tracks more than Google's 20,000 limit, but much less than Amazon's 250,000 limit
