Jun 11, 2013 6:58 AM in response to grafiksolby Gabaghoul7,I am having the same issue. It seems like everyone is having some version of this problem. For me, I can't see my Airport Expresses and WiFi is very unstable in my house. I get about 15 secs after turning my Wifi on and off on my device before it craps out. It's most likely the Airport updates to accept the new 801.11ac . We're out of luck until Apple decides to fix it.

Jun 11, 2013 8:10 AM in response to grafiksolby Jeff Leigh,The new version also can't see my Time Capsule (3rd gen). Luckily the old 5.6 version still works correctly.

Jun 11, 2013 8:41 AM in response to grafiksolby k3n1ch1,Ran into similar issue after updating to version 6.3. Restarting the timecapsule seems to have resolved the issue.
Hope that helps...

Jun 11, 2013 9:37 AM in response to Jeff Leighby mathman47,Same issue here. AU 6.3 sees only one Airport Express (of two, both being 2nd gen.) MIA on 3rd Gen Time Capsule and 3rd Gen Airport Extreme, acting as extender. I used Pacifist to reinstall 6.2, and everything is back to normal. Will probably wait until Apple realizes they've got a problem and issue 6.3.1 Interestingly enough, the update for iOS works fine on both iPhone and iPad.

Jun 11, 2013 9:53 AM in response to grafiksolby Tesserax,Until this is resolved, you can still access your base stations by using the File > Configure Other option in the AirPort Utility's menu bar.

Jun 11, 2013 12:14 PM in response to grafiksolby jlophoto,Ditto:
I have two (2) Airport Extremes (1-4th Gen, 1 - 5th gen) Airport Utility on iPad and iPhones see both AE. Version 6.3, dated 6/10/2013 for MacOS does not.

Jun 11, 2013 12:45 PM in response to grafiksolby ashute,Same here. Lost my 3 airport expresses, but they still show in iTunes. Hope they will get a quick fix out for this.

Jun 11, 2013 1:19 PM in response to ashuteby Nathan Goldshlag,Airport Utility 6.3 is broken. When I launch it, it says about my Time Capsule:
"Time Capsule was previously part of your network. Check that it is still in range of your network and is plugged into a power outlet. Forgetting this device removes it from this network."
Once again, non-existent software QA at Apple. How is it that I can find things in 2 minutes that their testers cannot find?
I used Terminal to delete it and my supposedly non-existent Time Capsule to get Airport Utility 6.2.

Jun 11, 2013 1:51 PM in response to grafiksolby lusebra,Same here. Lost my 4 airport expresses and airport extreme 4 generation, but wireless is working. I went back to airport 6.2 and now fine again.OX 10.8.4 iMac 27.

Jun 11, 2013 3:16 PM in response to lusebraby c4s2k3,Same issue here. I just updated to AirPort Utility 6.3 and it cannot see either of my 2 Airport Extreme base stations. They are working and I'm online but they simply do not show up in the utility. It just sits there and spins the "working" wheel. Very frustrating.
Running MacOS 10.8.3. The previous utility worked fine and I used it earlier today.
I just restored the previous version of the utility to my desktop from a backup and it works, so it's clearly an issue with v6.3.

Jun 11, 2013 3:30 PM in response to grafiksolby dfavor,If you install Airport Utility 6.3 the software will brick itself (meaning it's unusable).
Your Wi-Fi components will likely still work, only the Airport Utility will be bricked.
To fix this...
1) Download http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1628 (Airport Utility 6.2)
2) Run Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
3) Type -> sudo bash (input your password)
4) Type -> cd /Applications/Utilities
5) Type -> rm -rf AirPort\ Utility.app (mistype this and you'll be a world of hurt)
6) Double Click ~/Downloads/AirportUtility6.2.dmg (you downloaded in step #1)
You have to do a shell rm command, because trying to install 6.2 will throw an error message that
a newer version is installed. And if you try to remove the Airport Utility from Finder you'll get a message
saying you're disallowed removing it because OSX depends on it.

Jun 11, 2013 5:59 PM in response to dfavorby bskeet,Thank you! After fighting with this all day, I followed your instructions, reverted to 6.2 and - voilá - my expresses and time capsule were back and editable. Hope they get it fixed soon.
