    Not sure what you mean but you can read about it here. The compatible devices that it will work with are listed at the bottom of the page.

    iOS 6 came out the first day in fall. iOS 7 might be the same. iOS 7 IS coming sometime in the fall though!

    'This Fall' probably means any time between Sept and December.

    Whenever the beta testers find bugs and they're fixed, and if there is a hard and fast deadline only Apple knows that.

    They should just release it instead of promoting it. I remember when IOS 6 was out, I refused to upgrade becuase of Google Maps. Once they brought back the App, I upgraded my phone.

    They'll release it when it's ready. If you mean that they should have waited to announce, then

    1) developers need time to make any necessary adjustments to existing apps for compatibiliy and developers can't keep secrets, so it just makes sense for Apple to announce such a major upgrade when they give it to developers and;

    2) for every person who like you says that Apple should wait until something is ready to ship before announcing, there are twenty people who complain that Apple should give them more warning about new products.

    Apple is also competing with all the other phone manufacturers so it's just good marketing to let people know in advance about such a major new version.

    Regards.

    Apple never brought back Google Maps. Google released its own app for iOS.
