Jun 13, 2013 1:50 PM in response to fallenstar2121by OGELTHORPE,Did you format the new SSD? Did you install or clone an OS onto the SSD? If so, does it boot the MBP from an external enclosure?
Ciao.

Jun 13, 2013 2:19 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby fallenstar2121,I didn't format the SSD as I can't get to a screen to allow me to format. I thought I would be able to pop the new SSD in, hold option for the startup manger, select the DVD to boot off then format during that process. The problem is the startup manager never comes up.
