I've been following a number of thunderbolt hub progress for 2 years now, and STILL can't find one that I need.

  • UTTERLY MUST HAVE dual dvi. This means a minimum resolution of 2560x1440, which is what my current 27" IPS monitor does.
  • UTTERLY MUST HAVE gigabit ethernet. Wireless N does not cut it.
  • Really nice to have a daisy chain so I can hook it to my thunderbolt external drive, but not critical.
  • NICE TO HAVE a power out so I can power my MBA from it, e.g. have two cords - thunderbolt + power, so I don't have to carry a spare power adaptor to the office.

Basically what I've been seeing is either DVI single, or hdmi, or no daisy chain, or no video at all.

Here's things I've looked at that DON'T cut it:

Oh, and just to pre-empt the guy who who inevitably suggest that I just buy a new apple display (as if they are worth throwaway money): NOT AN AFFORDABLE SOLUTION, please just move on.
