I just bought a new Macbook Air, comes with 10.8.4 ML.

Everytime I quit an app using either command + Q or right click quick, the menu bar on top of the screen disappears until I click on another app, as if there is no app activated so it doesn't show any menu. How can I fix this? It's very distracting.

If you have any 3rd party menu apps in your menu, its possible they are causing a conflict.

Set up a "test" account.  Does the same thing happen in the "test" acct.?

You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked.  Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.

Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out.  Let Apple deal w/the problems.

Mine does the exact same thing.  I am not sure why.  I have updated to 10.8.4 on 2 other comps and it does do that.  It is very annoying.

I restarted and i think that might have gotten rid of the glitch.

I had the same issue after starting my brand new Macbook Air for the first time. It seems to have resolved after a restart. Additionally, when this occurred my internet connection also would not work. I was still connected to the wireless, but it would not resolve any addresses whereas all other computers on the network would. Again, a restart seems to have resolved it. *crosses fingers*
