Reinstall Snow Leopard v10.6 from your install disc > Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard: How to Erase and Install

Jun 14, 2013 10:50 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby piggylieu,GOOD MORNING CS, I have been tyring to get my mac to boot off of a snow leopard osx disc that i just purchased that has cpu writen on it but it sounds as if its booting up but then shuts down and restarts to a GREY SCREEN! i accidently erased my 10.6.8 after i partioned it in disk utility, Would greatly appreciate if you could help me recover! Thank You Piggylieu.

You must install Snow Leopard on your Mac.
Follow the instructions from the link I posted previously to install Snow Leopard.
