Q: How do you erase or hide apps in the purchase history of all iPhones and all iPads (including IPhone 5 and the newest IPad)

You cannot hide purchases on a device using iOS6. However you can hide them using iTunes on a computer, and they will then be hidden on all devices.

No it didn't but after you hide them on you're computer what do you do because maybe I'm doing it wrong

Have you tried restarting the devices? Hold the home and sleep buttons together until the Apple logo appears.

Note: You will not lose any data.
