Uninstalled then reinstalled a purchased app, now it says I haven't bought it?

I installed the game Otherworld: Spring of Shadows Collector's Edition which came as free from the initial buy. You can only play a part of the game for free and once you get to a certain point you have to pay for the game to play the rest of it. The game was on sale on that day from $4.99 to around $1.99 (or $2.99, I'm not 100% sure) and so I bought the game. After playing the game for a long time, I uninstalled it from my iPhone 3GS just to make some room on my phone. It was still in my iTunes account since I had not deleted the game fully, rather just removed it from my phone temporarily. I then recently reinstalled it to my phone from my iTunes account since I bought a new phone and now had room on my old 3GS. When I opened the game on my phone, the game said that I needed to purchase the game, acting as if I had never had the full version in the first place. Now it is back to it's original price of $4.99 (that's what it says in the game, but on the app store it says it's $2.99) and I am especially not wanting to re-purchase it because I had already paid for it a while back.

How do I get my game back to the state it was when I had purchased it? As in, how do I get back the full version without needing to buy it again? Is there a reason the game reverted to being the Lite version when it was already in my iTunes account after purchasing the full version?

The problem is that since it was from a long time back (about a year ago), I had deleted the receipt from my e-mail, and it will really suck if it is needed and the only way to get back my game...

Just as an extra note, I had changed the e-mail that I was using for my iTunes because the e-mail was hacked into.

Thank you.
