Search Google and eBay. Check ifixit.com. There are many vendors who deal in parts for old Macs.

When it comes to wanting parts for any Mac portable, eBay is your friend.
You can find a wide range of parts to suite your PowerBook. The only thing I would say it, the plastic trim you speak of, would be easier to strip from an exisiting screen housing.
If I was looking to renovate an old PowerBook, I'd look for a very good condition non-working PowerBook from eBay and strip it down for useful parts. It's a lot cheaper than buying individual parts.
