Q: Migrating from PPC to Intel

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help;

I am about to upgrade to a new macbook pro after 10 wonderful years with my trusty Powerbook G4 and have a question on migration;

A few years back, in a desperate bid to free up some much needed hard drive space I downloaded some software that deleted the universal binaries of my current software (Adobe CS3 suite). It worked and did create some more space but now I am worried that when I transfer to my new mac my Photoshop / Illustrator software wont work.

Could anyone tell me if my thinking is correct and if there is anyway of rectifying it?

Any help much appreciated and apologies for my amazing lack of foresight...
