That would be a waste of your money. There has only been two attacks on Macs in the past year and Apple helped to resolve the issue quickly. Save your money because there is little to no attacks on macs.

Oh, you said FREE? lol. Save your time and hard drive space. They are more trouble for a mac then a help.

You may look at ClamXav or Sophos if you are really concerned.  Both are free.

There actually is malware that can affect Macs, but anti-virus software is not the most efficacious method for avoiding it. Take a look at my Mac Malware Guide. If, after reading that, you want anti-virus software, only use one of the programs it recommends.
