Q: How can I access iTunes Match from my iPad?

When I go to the iTunes store from the iPad, I don't have any of these options this article talks about. my iOS is up to date. I purchased iTunes match from my computer and all my music uploaded but I can't figure out how to get to it from the iPad.  I changed my settings on the iPad to enable iTunes match but I still only see the songs locally on the iPad and those I downloaded from iTunes but not any of my other music.  Help!! I am frustrated and the only reason I purchased Match was so I don't have to load it all on the iPad.

If you've turned on iTunes Match on your iPad via Settings > iTunes & App Stores (Settings > Store if it's not on iOS 6), then you should be able to access your music within the Music app

Using iTunes Match on an iOS device : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5637

To access your music in iCloud, open the Music Player app on your device. It may take a few minutes for your iTunes Match library to appear on your device depending on your Internet connection, and how large your iTunes Match library is. You may see an iCloud icon with a progress bar while your device syncs with iTunes Match.

iTunes Match is 'on' in Settings and the iPad is connected to the internet ? You could try toggling the match button off and on and see if that fixes it, and try closing the Music app via the iPad's taskbar and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

Yes, iTunes Match is on in Settings and it is connected to the internet.  I have tried everything - even turning off and back on the iPad but nothing works.

Making matters worse, my computer is Windows 8 and nothing in itunes appears the way people describe it in the help!

Are you connected via wifi or cellular, and if cellular do you have Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Cellular 'on' ?

I am connected via wifi.  I don't have cellular capability on my iPad.

I appreciate you trying to help me - it is incredibly frustrating!

Not sure what else to suggest if closing the App, restarting the iPad and turning match 'off' and 'on' in Settings hasn't fixed it. Setting up of match on your computer appeared to go through ok ?

Thank you for trying.  I am at my wits' end and don't know what else to do.  Everyone seems to think Apple is so great but I can't agree.  This is only one of many things that doesn't work as they claim.  Waste of money.

You could try re-posting in the iTunes Match forum, people who reply in there will hopefully be able to help : https://discussions.apple.com/community/itunes/itunes_match

I can't get all my downloaded music from itunes match on my iphone.

I figured out there is a shared option under "more", but that option is not on my 4s. Can anyone help?
