    you said they'r fixing for free? i have the same problem on my MBP and the warranty is expired, they still doing it for free?


    is it like an exchange/repair program not announced?

    I carried it to the apple store, had the Logic board replaced for free - and then i got a call.

    "So now the display is all green and flickering, do you want a new one for $500"

    "No, it's already 3 years old and just worked fine before you replaced the LB.! please revert it to the old (crashing) condition"


    Now I got it back. Still crashing. Keyboard backlight not working now. Even worse than before. I am disappointed and need to buy a new laptop now. Probably I will change to another manufacturer due to the sky high prices of 15" MBPs and my bad experience this week.
