Jun 19, 2013 7:28 AM in response to connorm01by Michael Black,Do you have an iCloud account (the same account) on both? If so, enable using iCloud for docs and notes in the iCloud account settings. That will put the source copy of all notes from all connected devices on iCloud. When you change the local cached copy of a note on one device, it will sync to and update the source file on iCloud. Then, when you next access that note on another device, it will pull the updated version from iCloud.
Of course, to use iCloud this way, the devices need a data connection when using notes - cellular or wifi does not matter.

If are not you can enable iCloud Notes in the 3GS and then copy and paste them from local account to iCloud Notes (One by one). Then turn on Notes in iCloud settings in your iPad.
