there is nothing like a disable option...but u can try to do the following and check it once...
- first do the basic operations
check the condition after every step...if it is fine after any one of the step then there is no need to continue the remaining steps...
these should be doing the trick...be sure that u are always on the latest firmware...it solves many small issues like this.....hope this helps you...if you need anything else then please reply...happy to help....
Thanks - I did that. Didn't change anything. This post http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3577 indicates that one cannot have both zoom and voice control on at the same time. My phone didn't read that post, as when I turned ON zoom (to disable voice control) the VC still interrupted. I was unable to listen to anything I wanted today as the VC kept hijacking it. Will try the suggestion from sandiep. Restarting isn't such a terrible thing, but restoring is somewhat difficult in terms of the stuff I lose....
I appreciate the replies.
My phone does this with no relation to earphones or wind and is no particular pattern, it just happens randomly whenever it wants and is extremely annoying! I don't even have a home button on my phone so I don't think it is related to that as I'm using assistive touch.I have disabled voice over and it has made no difference. Surely there must be a way to disable this infuriating feature as it will call people and play music when my phone is in my pocket untouched and gets me into trouble when in class!
