Currently Being ModeratedFeb 11, 2006 8:39 PM (in response to eduong503)Do you have any iTunes plug-ins on your PC?
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 11, 2006 10:49 PM (in response to eduong503)eh, azureus might be the one, not sure, but a bittoreent app like that might....
Looks like you'd have to shut things down and only leave iTunes open to see which one it is.
It may not even be an app showing on your task bar, you may have to look in Task Manager > Processes.Pentium 4 ~ 300GHz, Windows XP, SP2, external hard drive, B&W U2 iPod, 1G shuffle
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 11, 2006 11:18 PM (in response to Katrina S.)thanks for the reply...i don't think it's azureus...cuz once i start windows....i open itunes first...before anything else...im guessing it has to be a process that automatically starts before i open itunes...its not that big of a deal....just annoying to have that when i exit itunes...maybe an updated version will come out that will fix this.dell, Windows XP
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 12, 2006 11:42 AM (in response to eduong503)well, you're the first one I''m seen reporting this, so that makes me think it is unique to your PC. So I doubt an updated iTunes version is going to "fix" this.
The way to find things like this is by using MSCONFIG as explained in these directions. But it is tedious to find it, requires a lot of PC restarting. You said it's not a big deal, so you might not want to spend the time.

Currently Being ModeratedApr 28, 2006 3:37 PM (in response to Chase Hansen)I have the same problem... just shut down setpoint.exe and itunes now closes out just fine. (iTunes 188.8.131.52) I'm now going to try the upgrade (though I am still mad about Apple slipping in the DRM in the 6.0 upgrade without clearly telling anyone - I'm not a music stealer, but it made a mess of my collection and I don't like being help captive like this without clear consent!!)
Thanks to Chase Hansen for the hint about DiNovo keyboard being the problem!! It works!!Multiple, Windows XP
