I put a few new albums in my itunes and when I open them from my iphone 5 i noticed that itunes match had placed a blank duplicated of each song in there..I have turned itunes match off and on multiple times and Ive also deleted and re added the albums multiples times, but its still the seems to be only doing this for two albums in particular and Im not sure why. any way to get rid of those blank duplicates?

You will not be the only one suffering with iTunes Match. On my mac every so often I have duplicate songs, I put this down to multiple devices. It would seem when adding a new device and downloading the odd track iTunes Match seems to think that this is a new tune and then re-uploads it then you have 2 of the same tune. This has happened a lot to me. Not sure if others are noticing this. Very annoyinng.

On what device are you disableing the service? You should be doing it on the iOS device, then launching the Music app, let the content clear out then re-enable the service.

I'm having the same issue.  I have tried what you suggested several times and it doesn't solve the problem.

iPhone5, IOS 6.0.2 using itunes match.

As you can see from the first picture, itunes Match is inserting "blank songs", the blank song is listed as "unknown" (2nd pic)

I have approximately, 23000 songs in my match account, but as you can see from this last pic, the blank songs are counting as 47579!!!

Its very distracting have to scroll through all these.

It doesn't duplicate the artist or album listings, however when you pull-up an album it has the "empty songs" within the album listing:

As I said, I have tried several times to stop match, open the player, close the player and then turn match back on.  Each time, same result.

    Any thoughts?

This should help you solve the problem: Re: iTunes Match - 'No Music' on iPhone 4
