    Hi Kpasso,

Here are some basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting steps:

Also, regarding bluetooth, some of these steps may be helpful:

    Thanks,

if not, it is a hardware failure. Contact Genius bar for evaluation and possible replacement.

    Hi Matt,

None of that works.  I have had IOS 1.6.3 since it came out so not sure why my Wifi doesn't find networks OR the Wifi option is greyed out.  My battery is draining a lot faster too.  None of the articles i've read on the support site help.

Is Apple going to release a new update or replace all these phones that stopped working?  We shouldn't be financially responsible if it's a problem with Apple.  Thanks.

Having wifi issue, with iPhone 5 and iPod touch 4g after ios 6.1.4

Just checked on both the devices with all the solutions

    1. Reset Network Settings.

    2. Hard Reboot

    3. Changed the DNS setting for wifi on iPhone

    4. Finally restored to factory settings wth old backup.

    5. Even tried restoring the phone and setting up as a new iPhone.

Any solution except what all are tried are most welcome.

I also have problems since 6.1.4 on iphone 5.

Mobile internet works but really slow.

Wifi has more problems. No constant connection. 9 out of ten times i can not connect to wifi network.

When i do connect it is for a short time and internet is really slow.

I tried everything. So far no good. Never had any problems till the last update.

I only have problems with iphone 5 and not with ipad or iphone 4.

Does this have something to with the speaker/audio update?

Apple please fix this! An iphone with no internet is useless!!!!

When anybody has a fix i would love to hear this!

This may help... I've just got my WiFi connection to work in my iPhone 5 with IOS 6.4.1 installed.

Step 1. remove any MAC-filtering, and firewalls from router.

Step 2. Plug iphone into the computer it is normally 'synced' with for carring out updates, etc.

Step 3. on iPhone, goto to Setting/WiFi and turn wifi on (if not already)

WiFi network should now show in 'searching network' field

Step 4. Join desired network.  (I'm no tech buff but I believe this will create a 'teathered' connection.

Step 5. Re-enable desired filters and firewalls on router. (Note that if you use MAC-Filtering, you will now see your iphone in the filter list for you to 'Authorise'.)

Step 6. Remove cable / disconnect your iPhone from computer.

    Worked for me at least.
