I've done simple Disk Utility Scans - all seems Ok. Do Permission Repair Many times - It's always the same massive repair repeatedly.

Get Safari up - walk away for a few minutes - Come Back, Screen is asleep - won't wake.

Force Restart - or at times, it just does it on it's own.

I'm not used to this degree of nonsense.  Is a possible trojan doing this?

Thanks.

Forced Restart report is handy.

Dusk Utility does not scan, it can fix some directory issues.

    No sense running repair permissions.

Find a drive, format and do full system install.

Every freeze may corrupt the directory and files sk you should boot from a clone: bootable backup and run Techtool Pro 6 or 7, or Disk Warrior as it seems you dont have a system image.

Could be ram, any device attached.

Helps to list what mac model configuration.

3rd part extensions and plugins always affect Safari, might want to take it up on Safari forum.

ALway's Great to see the Master -

I'm afraid you are correct - New Drive & New OS load.

I'll throw up what the restart log had - it doesn't look pretty.

Not sure what it's really saying - But last few saved to file say the same.

That is a machine check. these are ALWAYS Hardware Errors, and very, very often Uncorrectable RAM Memory Errors:

      Status bits:

       Processor context corrupt

       Error enabled

       Uncorrected error

    panic(cpu 7 caller 0x2aaf41): Machine Check

If the report had continued and included:

IA32_MC8_STATUS and it is valid, the next two long words will show the _DATA and the full _ADDRESS of the fault.

It also sometimes includes a reference to the (Zero-based) Channel and (Zero-based) DIMM within that Channel. What is a Channel and a DIMM and how that maps to places where you plug in the memories is not completely clear, and depends on the exact model Mac Pro.

It is very common to have an uncorrectable error in a Module that has been seeing a large number of correctable errors that have been noted in the counters in
