Do you have Firmware Protection set, if so disable it.
What happens if you hold alt key only t bootup, what boot choices do you see?
Is it a Wifi or USB Keyboard?

- The Superdrive works. When I tried to restor mine the SD would just eject the disk
- You have either an original install disk made for your model Mini or a retail install disk. An original install disk from another model Mini or other model Mac will not install.
