Our computer is a hand-me-down from a family member.  Mail keeps asking for the password to the previous users account.  We have deleated the old account under Preferences -> Accounts, but it still asks for the password multiple times per day.  We just hit 'cancel' and nothing happens till it asks again, but it is rather annoying.  Any ideas?

Mail>Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Account Information tab, click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), choode edit Server list. Remove the old one by highlighting it & clicking the tiny minus icon.
