It's not working for me, and I'm using Outlook 2013 on Windows 7.  I am also using the iCloud control panel version 2.1.1.

Having the same problem as well with Outlook 2013 & Windows 7 64-Bit. Had to revert back to Office 2013. I'm not 100% sure iCloud 2.1.1 fully supports Outlook 2013 yet.

All too often, when Microsoft update software it takes an age for Apple to catch up.

Wouldn't it be great if the two companies grew up and started talking to each other?

I still had problem with the latest icloud software for PC.

The problem was that I had installed icloud controll panel before installing Office 13.
When I re-installed icloud controll panel it "senced" Outlook 13 correctly.

So my tip to they who have problem: reinstall/repair the iCloud controll panel.

Still have problems with Outlook 2013 and iCloud 2.1.2 tired a number of things. I believe Apple will need to release iCloud update that makes it compatible with Outlook 2013. Here's to hope they'll provide an update in the near future. Office 2013 has been out for about 7+ months.

    Update:

I've seen a few threads on this on the Apple boards about integration issues. I'm not sure Apple officially support iCloud PC plug-in on Office 2013 platform. Purchased Off2K13 a number of months ago and it is sitting waiting for iCloud PC support. iCloud 2.1.2 & 2.1.1 keep generating a 'repair installation' message. Only fix on my primary PC was to re-install Off2K10 and everything works without error.

Got Off2K13 through my work program, don't feel bad about having a $8 dollar piece of S/W sitting doing nothing. If I paid full retail, would be angry about the lack of integration, and having to buy a earlier copy of Office to get iCloud to play nice with my PC.

Apple will need an update for iCloud Control Panel for PC. Think a misnomer exists about 'does it really work'. Some folks report it working but, wonder if some of the iCloud integration pieces actually work, or other folks report things start 'mysteriously' start to fail a few days later.

In addition, Apple http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4759 does NOT call out 'Off2K13' in iCloud requirements. It says Off2K7 or Off2k10.  If Off2K13 was listed it probably would be working without issue.

Below is for those interested in the test cases. I'm a project engineering so, familiar with QA testing procedures, and have a 'sandbox' at home to play with S/W configurations, etc.. and test integration components. Most of this work was done in a few hours in the morning over a cup of coffee. Have H/W infrastructure in-place, and VM snapshots. In addition, it was a perfect fit for a assignment for a College computer class. We're studying software integration testing & development procedures.

    Use Cases:

**Note: All use cases were done with 'Wipe & Load' process. That way everything was a 'pristine' installation.

    Browser:

Both IE9 & IE10 were tested in all my use cases. don't think it matters but, wanted to do so my use case included browser instances scenarios.

    1. Primary (Comcast) - IMAP & POP/SMTP

    2. Secondary (Verizon FiOS) - POP

Note: Made sure iCloud was NOT the default Outlook email client. Some have suggested if it is, generates the error message on Outlook.

It's finally working for me in this way with Windows 8 64-bit and Outlook 2013:  Had to uninstall the iCloud control panel, deleted the me.com account in Outlook 2013, then reinstalled the control panel.  Hope this helps someone else!
