Q: If I scan pics using a Mac, save to USB, can I then read on a PC?

I have to scan a large amount of pictures for my sister in law. I have a Mac she has a PC. If I scan using my Mac and save to USB, will she be able to access the pictures with her PC?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Of course. Macs and PCs read the same photos, so you won't have any problem.

 

The only thing you have to be careful about is that you create the pictures in a format like JPEG or PNG, just in case TIFF doesn't work. The scanning application will give you the option to modify this setting
