I am Fresh Install OS X Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro 17", I am happy that now OS X Mountain Lion built in with Auto Complete Text that we can setup on Preferences > Language & Text > Text Tab.

The weird issues is... why this auto completed text didn't work on All Apps or All area.

Example. On Text Edit, Mail App we can use it on overal area. On Open Windows such as New File name we can use it too. On Safari we can use Auto Text on URL Bar, but on the content example open Facebook Website we can use this Auto Text.

On Google Chrome, Coda 2, Sublime Text 2 and many others App we can't use it on every area

Any clue how to make it work on every place, every form, every area, every app?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3), Windows 7

You will have to ask the people who make those apps to fix them.

If you find an Apple app where it does not work the way you want, you can ask Apple to fix it via

This Auto Text is made by Apple, Inc.

The weird thing is... on Messages App, Auto Text from Apple didn't work

Then you should probably use those 3rd party apps which provide the features you need.

I don't think anyone in these user to user help forums will have an answer to your question.

Works for me.  Did you set Edit > Substitutions > Text Replacement?

Can you explain about your "work"?

Work on which App? All apps? try it on Google Chrome (on URL and On the Website), try it on Messages App

Thanks you about your suggestion on

Edit > Substitutions > Text Replacement

For Some App (example Messages App) have this feature.. but on Google Chrome we didn't find it... Microsoft Word didn't have too..

So I will use 3rd Party App for now.. maybe on OS X Mavericks have better Text Replacement ...

You have it backwards -- it's up to MS and Google to fix their apps so they can use Apple's service.
