I recently did some testing with logic after updating my LFO tool the results are good. I updated my version to the latest beta and no lag. I have worked about 16hours on this project. However i was able to recreate the lag issue using the Vengeance Mastering Suite: Multiband Compressor. Seems like all those plugins are having issues with Logic still and Mr Duda may have updated something in the code for LFO Tool.

Indeed... From what I have seen... Apple have contacted developers via the Development forums and have informed them of the changes they need to make to their code to ensure a minimal issue with "Gui Lag' in line with the recent chages to OS X and Cocoa's frameworks.. Some Devs have already implemented these changes (if needed in their plugins) and other's haven't.. hence the continuing issues with certain graphically intensive plugins.
is there any real reason for you to believe that Apple is involved in this issue?
See above... plus look at the release notes from recent OS X updates and you will see that the problem actually lies within OS X itself due to changes the OS X Dev team made to certain routines and Cocoa's frameworks..as far back as Lion..and not Logic per se..

Not to mention that many users have seen the problem go away with Logic or OSX updates. It's not fixed for everyone yet (although at this point at least some of it may be third party plugins), but there's no reason to doubt that Apple has been working on it.

I'm running 10.8.4 and Logic Pro 9.1.8.
The other day I imported a single .aiff file from a low-level recorded movie just to tweak it. I often use Multipressor and Ad-limiter in the output channel. Now with just only these two plugins, and onlly one lone audio track, Ad-limiter no longer runs smoothly. I hope this would not be considered off-topic...
For me it's not really life-threatening in a general sense, as I no longer work on large multi-track projects, and so on. But things don't seem to working as they should. Audio interface is old Motu 828, and midi mixer "Logic control". Good luck all.

Im in contact with the apple support but they couldnt find a solution yet its horribleiMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

I am praying that mavericks has done something about this Lag issue and that it will be solved. Cause the utter hopelessness and loss of finances that this probelm has caused me is devastating. I even tried apple support but aparently you cant be called by them if you are in South Africa and I have no idea how to call them from my location and neither do they.
