How can I use an iTunes card to purchase iBooks for my ipad if I already have an account with a credit card associated with it

    AFAIK the purchase of iBooks require a CC

     

    But I could be mistaken... I'm sure some one will point it out if I am...

    If you haven't already done so then you should be able to redeem the card onto your iTunes account, and the balance should then be used for the purchase - unless the ibook costs more than the value of the gift card, in which case the remainder will be taken from your credit card.

    Not true. I don't have a credit card assigned to my account, and I can purchase books with an Itunes card just fine.

     

    What you need to do, is simply redeem the card so the balance is added to your account, and then purchase the Book. The purchase should be deducted from then iTunes balance before going to the credit card.
