This immediately makes me think of two things:

    1) I would first attempt an SMC reset on this iMac, which can easily be done by following the directions on the following link.

    2) There is an issue with the physical bluetooth module. If this is the case, I would recommend contacting an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for some deeper hardware investigation.

You can also attempt to run an Apple Hardware Test to check if there are any clearly evident hardware failures before contacting the stores.

As Allen A already mentioned, I would use the Contact Apple Support link to get in contact with an Advisor if none of this provides a proper resolution.

Cheers Allen, I tried that... No help... According to apple I've done all I could... BUT send it to be fixed at a Apple Service Shop which in Brazil, in my oppinion, is handled by people which main interest is make huge amounts of money with out never ever open a dictionary in their lives to see the meaning of CARE and SUPPORT... If you know what I mean... It's like, as they are only few, at least in Rio, "they got the power" sad... really sad... I've just chat with Apple and share my oppinion that being submitted to online test doesn't mean "being a specialist" whatsoever... That's life... Cheers for the support...

    All the best...

Hello Richard, thanks for your help.... I've just contacted them, thanks...

As per your point number 1) ... I've done it at least 3 times... Among other possible solutions...

The Hardware test, also... According to Apple, believe it or not, Bluetooth Hardware is not considered "priority" therefore, it is not cover by the test, the standard and the extended one... So, I wonder... HOW CAN BLUETOOTH NOT BEING PRIORITY if without it you don't access anything with magic mouse, track, keyboard... And as I did, needed to FIRST rush to by wired keyboard/mouse and then... Try all resetting, checking, blahs and blahs...

My one million dollar question is just... Why it happened immediately as updating AirPort (I know AirPort has, allegedely, nothing to do with it BTW)....

The thing is... An iMac in Brazil, simplest model, costs around 4 thousand USD... And the minimum a service shop ask, because all they say all the time is "logical board to be changed" as in PC they say "format disk" if you kjnow what I mean...is around 1,4 thousand USD... So... I had my iMac bought Jan 2012 and now it is already giving me the creeps?

believe me all, i make a living of my imac and i take care of its health more accurately than mine own...

    That pretty much *****, SAD!

Thank you all for your support.

    Cheers from Copacabana!
