Jun 28, 2013 8:19 AM in response to colettem1by DogDeeman,It's not the soundbar it's the Apple TV settings. Go to the menu under audio/Video look for Dolby Digital and change to off, this will do the trick. Some have said that the audio output needs to be on 16 bit as well but mine wasn't changed and it works great. I use a Vizio VSB210 soundbar with wireless Sub.

Feb 13, 2016 7:12 AM in response to DogDeemanby mrshred,WoW! I have been trying to solve this problem for almost a year. Spent HOURS on phone with Vizeo Tech support. Returned and got new soundbar 2x. Vizeo told me it was my TV. I was about to buy a new one but decided to try it one last time. It would work intermittantly with no rhyme or reason and then I noticed it lost the sound when I switched from DVD player to Apple TV so I suspected the AppleTv. Googled it, found your post, switched off Dolby and Voila! THANK YOU!!!!
