Q: My ipad does give me an option of Wifi Hotspot 4th gen.. Why?

Jun 29, 2013 11:40 AMby ryansimmons323,HelpfulIt all depends on whether your device is a 3G/LTE iPad and if so your carrier. Some mobile network carriers allow the personal hotspot feature and some don't. If you give me the name of your carrier I can let you know if they allow the Hotspot Feature.

Jun 29, 2013 12:12 PMby ryansimmons323,You may be able to use the Personal Hotspot feature, but the settings could be hidden.
In settings on your iPad, go to 'General', 'Cellular' and then scroll down to see the 'Personal Hotspot' setting. If it is positioned to 'off' turn it 'on' and tell me if that works for you.
