Hi I have an early 2009 Macbook and the piece to release the battery went missing. Now, I've turned it with either a screwdriver or credit card to the correct position yet it doesn't release! I was told just trying to turn it over and give it a tap would help but since the screen is not working and I use a remote monitor (did, but thats in anothrer topic) I had no problem smacking it, still nothing even budged. I think the mechanisms that enter the battery are stuck in it as I've even tried to stick something thin between the battery and case on the side of the mechanisms, but it only lifts the panel atop the battery and not the battery itself and I don't wan to break that off.

Any helpful suggestions?

MacBook (13-inch Mid 2009), iOS 6.1.3
