a few days after upgrading my mbp to 16gb of ram, i now get a white screen with loading bar when opening the lid of the computer after letting it sit for a few hours.  this only seems to happen when i'm plugged in...haven't seen it happen on battery.

it then goes through a process and ends up taking anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes before i can do anything with the machine (i.e. put in my password and log in).  i have sleep set to never while plugged in...turn off hard disks is checked, but i tried with it unchecked and still had the same issue happen.

i did run memtest a few times, each time all tests passed just fine.

i took a video and put it on youtube...

can anyone help me figure this out?  other than this the machine seems to be humming along nicely...haven't noticed any unusual crashes or kernel panics.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
