Because you no longer wnat it? empty the trash

In Error? - return it to its original location

If you need help details and actual questions give you a much better chance of success

For some reason my iphoto on my idock says "you can't open the application iPhoto because it is in the Trash"

"To open this application, move it from the Trash". Unfortunately, I coundn't find it from my trash.  What file should I be looking for as there was no "iPhoto" folder at all in my trash and I have not emptied my trash nor moved my iPhoto to Trash.  Please help.

You should be looking for an item called iPhoto Library

Download and use Find Any File  to search for "iPhoto Library".  When you  see it in the search results window drag it to the Desktop and from there into your Pictures folder.

    Find Any FileScreenSnapz001.jpg

"you can't open the application iPhoto because it is in the Trash"

"To open this application, move it from the Trash".

This says that  the iPhoto Application is in the trash - so you are not looking for the iPhoto library but the iPhoto appliocation

If you do not find it then you will have to reinstall form the original source - the restore disks that came with your computer or the pruchased iLife upgrad DVD or the App store under purchases
