How do I reset my PRAM it doesn't work with holding down option key and P & R simultaneously

 

It shows me a big lock still?

 

I am currently on:

    Hold Command, Option (Alt), P and R keys while your Mac is starting to reset your PRAM. If you see a lock, does it show up with a box to type a passcode? If so, you have firmware password
