Recently my ipad lost all its storage and said 0 bytes left. To make room I deleted some stuff, but no storage came back.

I have a fourth generation ipad and got it about six weeks ago. I use iCloud.

About two weeks ago it said I had .3 gb left when I only used 6gb. On the computer it said that I had no storage space and that I had the same movie downloaded 3x on it, but on my ipad I had no movie or videos at all.

    How much "other" does iTunes report that you have? If it is over 2 GB you will need to restore your iPad.

    How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

    How Do I Get Rid Of The “Other” Data Stored On My iPad Or iPhone?

    With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

    iCloud and Physical sotrage are 2 different things.

    Where exactly is it saying you have no storage left?  iCloud or your iPad?

    If yo go to Settings->General->Usage.

    How much does it say you ahve left.

    By the same token, what does icloud say about your storage?

    Looking at your Apps, which are taking up the most space?

    Thank you, before my other was at 6gb when I looked. I restored and now have 5.7 gb free of space

    Glad you got it fixed. A large volume of 'other' usually means corrupted data and the only way to fix that is by restoring the device.
