click on your email address in iTunes, view account > put in your password > select region > change to US

Thanks...... Looks like we've got a really weird problem here. I followed the instructions and found that I am registered as being in the US, so it's still a mystery as to why the store thinks that I'm in the UK even though my account clearly shows the Stars and Stripes as my location.
What next....who knows? The bookstore was working fine for the first few days and then this glitch occurred.
