If you're using iTunes for Windows, you may need to reveal the menu:
To turn on iTunes menus in Windows 8 or 7, do one of the following:
Press the Alt key.
This will turn the menus on and off temporarily. This will change back to the default, the iTunes menus being turned off, when you next close iTunes.
To keep the iTunes menus active, change the setting by selecting the Menu icon in the upper-left, and then selecting Show Menu Bar. Alternatively, you can press Control-B.
After this, you'll be able to authorize your computer by following these steps:
- From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).
- When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.

I have new mac, trying to set up and cannot find the authorization option under itune store?
