Does Logic ever get stuck at 440Hz?

Hi, I am using Logic pro 9.1.8 from the Studio One Box [upgraded from new install from old CD's] and have the problem of not having Logic respond to the project settings tuning slider.

I thought since Mainstage was for Live performing there might be someone who was performing live and needed to tune a half step down or up or just a quarter step up or down.

As I said my install is stuck at 440Hz, even Logic thinks it is transposing a half step, but when checking with an external Korg mastertuner it is obvious that Logic is stuck at 440Hz.

Has anyone seen this before?

Does anyome have a possible solution?

Am I going to have to allow the worlds largest obese person[corporations are people in the US!! and just as criminal ] , to dictate that I must shell yet another load of cash by buyimg a fresh install fromthe dreaded APP Store? Didn't I pay a small fortune for Studio One? And now may be forced to shell out $199 for a clean version?

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), 2.3GHz Intel Core i5,8GB 1333MHz D

    Hi

What are you trying to tune +/- 1/2 step: MIDI, Software Instruments or audio?

The Tuning project settings clearly state that they are for Software Instruments only.

You would be buying the same thing, so would be wasting both time and money.

    Hi

Given that this is a MainStage forum, you might do better in one of the Logic ones... however:

Yes, WIVI is a software instrument

Has the WIVI ever worked correctly with the Tuning Settings control?

What happens if you start from a new (empty) project and try Tuning there (is this a project-specific problem or ...)?

What happens if you use another software instrument as a test: one of the Logic ones for example (is this a WIVI problem or ...)?

It is highly unlikely that the 32bit bridge would ever cause this.

I had recorded a good take of one of the SOLO WIVI tracks and when importing it is twice as long as the song.

This should not happen with MIDI unless you have the time signature wrong?? Are you importing audio (bounces)?

You did not answer my other questions:

    Hi

The audio I recorded and dragged to the new project is too long because the new project still had the default 120bpm while the original tempo was about 68bpm.

    So... when I asked:

It seems like you may well have been expecting AUDIO to adjust tuning???

    Hi

Not a problem... it just might've helped further to resolve the issues. Glad you got it sorted out.
