Jul 5, 2013 7:43 PM in response to fayue1015by LaPastenague,You need to use 6.3 airport utility.. which no doubt you are using.. and it requires ipv6 local-link turned on.. did you do that.

I do not have a new TC yet.. I have to admit i am rather put off by the level of comments.. this one has come out of the oven half-baked IMHO..
But I recommend people always do these kind of setups in full network isolation.
Turn off wifi in the computer.. connect the TC with ethernet.. just to the computer.. no other connection.
Put the TC in bridge mode.
Setup wireless with names that are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
WPA2 personal security with password of 10-20 characters pure alphanumeric mix of upper and lower case and numerals.
Update the TC and plug it back into the network.. and see how you go.

Jul 6, 2013 6:15 AM in response to LaPastenagueby fayue1015,Thanks for your guidance, but the product is really anoying. First, I am sure that the airpor utilities is 6.3.
and I also follow your instruction that to set the IPv6 as local link mode. But still get the same error as mentioned in my first post.
Therefore, I have tried to use the bridge mode but could not find it, and therefore still can not set it up successfully, even though I reset the factory again(press the reset button 5 secconds at least).

Jul 6, 2013 2:53 PM in response to fayue1015by LaPastenague,Turn wifi off and use just ethernet..
Or use airport utility in an ios device.. no luck take it back to apple genius to check or ring and get support to step you through the setup.
There is nothing wrong with what you are doing.. that i can see.
